At a popular holiday place of the Děvín hill with a beautiful view of entire Prague we have prepared a new apartment house with a modern design and lovely views. A great advantage of the project includes the smaller size with three to five flats on a floor. The flats are mostly designed for family living but the offer also includes smaller studios that might be a suitable investment. Our goal is that you find your real home and nice neighbours here.
The Dívčí hrady Residence has been designed as a project of modern living under the magical Děvín hill – at the edge of the Prokopské a Dalejské údolí nature reserve. Due to the location at 310 m.a.s.l., it offers beautiful views of the part of Prague on both banks of Vltava.
The locality is based on the prepared project called Smíchov City of Sekyra Group in which in the immediate vicinity a new modern office and business centre of Smíchov with full-value city infrastructure and transport connection is going to be built.
The Děvín Castle or more precisely – Castle remains can actually be evidenced only from the landscape relief and specific vegetation. The luxurious block-layout Castle was probably built before 1338 by Štěpán of Tetín, a nephew of Přemysl bastard Jan Volek. Around 1370, the Castle was bought by the Carthusian Monastery and its subsequent fates are not exactly known; it probably became desolate not later than in the 14th century. Some hypotheses assume it was confiscated in 1420 but it is not mentioned in written documents from the Hussite period. Early in the 16th century the ruin was used as a training target for new Prague cannons. Big wall remains are also recorded on a drawing from 1689 and stone was only mined from the Castle remain in the 19th century.
From Anděl in 7 minutes by bus No. 231 or on foot from the Radlická underground station through the quiet Kutvirtova Street, which is a big advantage especially for children. For motorists, the locality is easily accessible from all directions even due to the vicinity of the Prague ring.
The Elementary School for your children at the Radlická Street (www.zsradlicka.cz) is within a walking distance along the quiet Kutvirtova Street, there is just one crossing of the main Radlická street via the crossing with pedestrian lights. There is also a kindergarten near the Elementary School. There are several specialised and vocational schools around – Elementary School for Persons with Hearing Impairment (www.sksp.org) and the nearest secondary school is at Na Zatlance (www.zatlanka.cz). Nearby, there are two business centres – Nový Smíchov Business Centre (www.novysmichov.eu) and Butovice Gallery (www.galerie-butovice.cz) with a broad range of services, shops and multiplex cinemas. In the Radlice Sports Centre (www.sportcentrumradlice.cz) and Motorlet Sports Club (www.sk-motorlet.cz) there are facilities for sports activities – from the swimming pool, wellness and fitness centre, spinning to sports halls of various sizes.
Just outside the apartment house there is the A1 cycling path along Vltava on which you can go to the centre of Prague or the opposite way along the Dalejský stream.
All facilities are accompanied by restaurants called U Westfála, Delphi Greek Restaurant, Ganga Indian Restaurants and other services directly in the centre of Anděl.
